Oh President’s Day.. how I squandered you away.

Three day weekends are something that I’m still learning how to make the most of. I get it in my head that the weekend is going to last forever so the first couple of days I do stupid things. I go to bed early, I watch dvds that I don’t really care about. I live the life of a lottery winner. Then, before I know it, it’s Monday evening and BAM! I have to think about work the next day.

Today’s comic is my answer to Valentine’s Day. I hope everyone reading this had an alright day. Valentine’s Day is a really funny holiday and in all actuality, I’m pretty against it.

I think that if you truly love someone, the thought of trying to show it more on one day of the year than any other should be difficult. It shouldn’t matter what gifts you buy them every February. If you love someone, you should treat them special every day and buy them gifts at times when they don’t expect it. That’s love. Waiting until the 14th day of the second month of the year.. well that’s just a commercialized joke (in my opinion). I think everyone needs someone in their life that they want to spoil on Valentines Day, but if they love that person as much as they’re supposed to.. Valentines Day should just feel like another day because everything that most people do that day should be commonplace already.
