This relationship has bothered me for as long as I can remember. A rich man, hell bent on fighting crime, decides one day that it’d be a good idea to enlist the help of a kid to help fight crooks and murderers? Doesn’t that sound like the type of guy a hero would go after, instead of the actual hero himself? Seriously.. what if Batman was the bad guy?

“We have to stop this ‘Bat.. Man.. He’s got kids out there helping him do his dirty work. And he makes them wear.. tights..” 

Kind of makes you see it all in a different light, huh?

And I’ll be the first to admit that Batman is my favorite hero.

Ever.

It’s just.. Robin sucks so much. If I wanted to read about an ex-acrobat child who fights crime in green underwear then I wouldn’t buy comics at all. I’d stick to the internet, where that type of shit is completely normal.
