I had a good friend tell me yesterday at work, as I explained today’s comic to her “Hypothetical hookup sounds like a game you’d really make people play.”

And in that, she’s right.

I’m nothing if I’m not a planner and more often than not, within the first five minutes of meeting someone, I can tell if they’re going to be in my life in the next ten years or not. Romantically or otherwise.

Maybe I’m good at reading people.. maybe I’m just a pretentious asshole who thinks his first opinions of people are always correct.

I like to think I draw a little from both.

Either way, yeah. I’d totally make someone play the hypothetical hookup game if I thought there was a chance they might have sex with someone they would later regret.

Sadly, I have very few friends who have forced me to play that very game, and thusly, I have more material for failed relationship comics than I would care to let on.

I suppose that’s life though, we run around rubbing our genitals on one another until we find someone that we can stomach who doesn’t tell us to stop. It’s just the experiences up until that point that can be a bitch.
